Introduction to Children's Yoga A Teacher Training for Adults

This Teacher Training Certification is designed for anyone who is interested in sharing the joy of Yoga with children and families. This is a foundational course open to yoga students and teachers of all levels. In addition to facilitation by Kate and Rosey, there will be several specialists presenting specific topics to the trainees, such as pediatric anatomy and incorporating music into your Yoga classes. The only requirement is that you have taken at least 3 Yoga classes and have a passion for kids!

In this training you will learn-
Yoga poses, partner poses, games, breathing exercises, and relaxations techniques How to develop and sequence children's classes Ways to include different behavioral management techniques that support a safe, supportive, non-competitive environment How to use props, music and books to create a fun class that engages children In this training you will receive- A teaching certificate A comprehensive manual, complete with Yoga class ideas, sample sequences and an outline of everything covered over the weekend Opportunities to observe and/or assist children's yoga classes in public and private schools as well as studios.
